Warehouse - Highland Park

Growing statewide company seeking local warehouse workers for the Highland Park Area.
Starting Pay & Position
Full-time night shift warehouse positions available.
This is a very active and manual labor job with heavy lifting, bending and walking in a fast-paced environment
This position involves frequently lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 55 pounds or more and pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds of force on a cart; frequently ascend and descend stairs
Night shift schedule is Sunday-Thursday from 7:00 pm until 3:30 am or until work is completed
Starting pay is $14.14
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately selecting products and distributing products
Must stack product on pallets safely and effectively with proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.)
Shrink-wrap product on loading dock. shrink wrap pallets when finished
Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations
Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product
Break down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
Maintain a "case per hour rate" as required
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum age 18
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
Able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Breath Alcohol Test, Physical Agility Test, Background Check)
Recent experience in a highly physical, labor intensive occupation (construction, farm worker, roofing, freight handler, trash collection, etc.) preferred
Previous experience selecting orders in a warehouse and operating motorized material handling equipment, pallet jack preferred
Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
