Manager Quality

Directs the development and implementation of all quality activities in the plant on all shifts. Establishes the plant's quality system including internal and external auditing practices and procedures. Champions the plant effort to achieve TS-16949 and the appropriate customer quality rating (ex: Q1 for Ford). Coordinates and ensures the successful completion of PPAP for all in-plant end items and works with ASDE/Purchasing for supplier PPAP. Quality Manager is the Business Operating System (BOS) Customer Rep implementing global and regional BOS requirements in their plant, managing and executing Customer-specific requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction, establishing, implementing and maintaining local BOS documents as needed. Responsible for supplier quality. Selects, mentors, and evaluates all quality personnel.   SCOPE: Establishes quality objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Develops and manages a strong Plan-Do-Check-Adjust (PDCA) system to quickly adjust for any shortfall to objectives and ensures standardized work within the quality department. Also assists the Plant OCM in establishing and maintaining standardized work within their departments (Finance, HR, MP&L, and Operations).   JOB COMPLEXITY: Works closely with operations to maximize operational efficiency. Also works with all cross-functional areas within the plant which includes: Finance, Human Resources, MP&L, and Operations. Must establish a good working relationship with the union (if there is a union) and develop a culture that achieves the plant objectives. Must also establish a good working relationship with the customer.   DISCRETION: Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations, and may jeopardize overall business activities. Must be able to forecast future potential issues and develop/implement action plans to minimize or eliminate the negative impact to operations. Must also develop/implement action plans to adjust to sudden customer changes.   INTERACTION: Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.   SUPERVISION: Manages activities through subordinates and works closely with the other Operating Committee Members.   May require occasional travel.  Overtime expected during launch.  Casual overtime within the plant policy.     Your Qualifications   5+ years combined experience in engineering, production, and quality. Must have production and engineering experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Bachelor's Degree required. Preference for a degree in a technical area such as engineering. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
