Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing cost effective manufacturing methods in the various Production operations within the facility. These operations include, negative vacuum forming, stitching, and laser scoring. Secondary operations may also include sonic or vibration welding operations.
This individual will be responsible for creating the manufacturing processes, specifying the machines and tooling, following the machine and tools builds, and installation. Candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement activities in OEE and quality. Candidate will work closely with maintenance to implement tool and facility PM programs. Additional responsibilities may occur due to sourced future programs.
Perform process and material flow analysis
Develop manufacturing process techniques and equipment to improve productivity.
Specification, installation and implementation of plant machinery, tolling and equipment
Coordinate all continuous improvement activities in OEE and quality.
Work closely with maintenance to implement tool and facility PM programs.
Facilitate ergonomic improvements throughout manufacturing areas
Manage improvement of all facilities PLCs and other equipment interface; make modifications as requested (bonus exp)
Manage equipment purchase burden to within budgetary guidelines
Assist in maintaining all TS and safety certifications.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred but will consider if experience is comparable
2 years manufacturing experience
Automotive experience is strongly preferred
Experience working with injection molding and/or vacuum forming processes is an advantage
Must have the ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical prints.
Capable of communication in oral and written form with all levels of teams
High level of detail is required
High level user of MS Office and Excel
Excellent grammar is critical
Position will do mostly automotive process documentation updates and improvements
Will need to be comfortable training on these same process updates and improvements

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
